I'm sorry to be posting this late! We are quite enraptured with the 60 9th graders who've been spending this weather-is-up week with us at the farm. They harvested around 1000 lbs of pumpkins, preserved, hiked, sang, cooked, gardened, tended, crafted, built and most of all, bonded.

Tomorrow we'll have second graders and next week, a 4-day trip for 45 sixth graders!

Please arrive promptly for: a meditative walk through Signe's Labyrinth near Buttermilk Falls live music with artist-in-residence Walken Schweigert and, a short dramatic piece presented as an invitation and gift Community soup cooked in the cast iron cauldron over an open flame and visits to the garden and barnyard to follow.

Please bring: Bowls, plates, cup, flatware, napkin for your meal Apple-themed dishes or cheese to share. *The farm will provide cider, bread and a harvest stone soup (vegan)

And, from Open Flame Theatre the next weekend, October 5-7, a final performance of The Wastelands, which entails a journey through the seven stages of grief in the post-apocolyptic world inspired by Dante's Purgatorio.
